Laboratorium Piesni koncert v Praze

Laboratorium Pieśni / Song Laboratory is a renewed Polish ensemble, singing traditional polyphonic songs from around the world — Slavic, Balkan, Georgian, Native American, and many others – arranged with shamanic drums and other ethnic instruments such as shruti box, flutes and rattles. The performed chants combine ancient tradition with polyphonic improvisation, intimate sounds and harmony with the wild expression of raw voices in intuitive compositions, often inspired by nature and paratheatrical elements.

The ensemble has performed and conducted workshops in over 20 countries around the World. The music video of Laboratorium Pieśni with traditional song "Sztoj pa moru" has reached over 16 million views on Youtube, and their albums have been nominated to most important music award in Poland. The new album of the group titled "Septem" will be released in October this year.
